Easter Bunnies

As Easter is just around the corner, I thought I might have a go at making some little bunnies.  I had some leftover pieces of woolen blanket from this embroidered coat, which I thought would be perfect for some furry friends.

My honey bought me this book for Christmas which had a basic bunny pattern.  It is a simple style, just two pieces sewn together, turned out and stuffed, with some hand sewing details here and there, and a wee embroidered face.

I have made a swag of these bunnies, each with their own coloured scarf.  Most of them were gifts for friends and the last few went to some new homes on the weekend.

Bunny's woodland pals - "Fox" and "Raccoon" are almost finished too (my own adaptation of the design).   If they are not too shy, I'll share some pics of them when they are ready to venture out in public :)

xx

  12. Looking for bunny face ideas I came across your sweet little bunny Lisa..... so cute and perfect in that woollen fabric. Did you hear me screech when I clicked on your book link and found it is a book I already have! I'd completely forgotten I'd got it on my shelf - so happy!

    Greetings from Wales!
