Dandelion Coat

June 14, 2012

Today I finished another little embroidered dandelion coat.  This time in a gorgeous soft green, with a pretty woodland print lining.  It is the same basic pattern as I used for this little tweed coat I made poppet a few weeks ago.

For some reason the cosy feeling of wool and playing outside in winter just seem to go together.  I love buttoning her up in a snug winter coat and donning shoes for a little outdoor time.  The piles of oak leaves in our garden are making a delightful free playground at the moment too... happy days!

The light was fading as we photographed in the garden and although the true colour is not captured here, you will just have to believe me when I tell you how beautiful and delicate the shade is.

This particular coat will be at Crafternoon-Tea Market this weekend.  You can also place a custom order for one (sizes 1-6 in a variety of colours) in my shop shortly if you would like one.

Happy Friday everyone and here's hoping for a lovely sunny weekend. xx
