On my Worktable

May 08, 2013

On my worktable this week:

A pink and purple turkish delight coat with some beautiful hand embroidered fushias, for a little girl in Ohio.   Of course her older brother also needed a coat too, so I made him a pirate coat in lovely warm grey wool.

A little woolen vest for the daughter of a new friend I made in Christchurch.  I fashioned it with a sweet peter pan collar and hand embroidered some deep red poppies, which look so pretty against the grey (if I do say so myself :)

A couple of blue toadstool pixie hats, one is for a newborn baby in Scotland...

Lastly, two classic dandelions coats in yellow and grey, (not photographed) along with some dandelion purses.  I love embroidering dandelions as you know!

Quite a busy little week!
