I love how our garden feels so full of promise at this time of the year. Everything feels fresh and new.
Our expectations are rather modest - to be able to pick a few berries as we walk by, pluck a few fresh leaves or a tomato or two for evening salads. Of course the chance of enjoying fresh peas straight from the pod can't be beaten either.
Simple but ever so rewarding.
