How beautiful are the colours in this blanket! My favourite from this weeks op-shop finds.
With the rain last week came thoughts of autumn.
Time to make our little girl a few new winter warmers.
Will this woodland plaid become her coat or cape? Or maybe even a little vest?
I'll see where my scissors take me :)

I know you make beautiful pieces, but maybe have just one autumn picnic in the trees first. I just picture thermos' of coffee, and those cool woven picnic baskets... Maybe I've seen too many LLBean catalogues :)
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous Lisa!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice blanket. And what a view! All of a sudden, I want to live in a treehouse in a rainforest! x
ReplyDeleteWow those are nice colours - I come across plenty of pastel ones, but great to have one in autumnal grown up colours!
ReplyDeletei agree with emma, your tree house is very appealing. the blanket is lovely. it puts me in mind of these funny little dresses we had in england when i was a little girl. they were a kilt on the bottom, with a white cotton vest type thing attached on the top half. did you have them here? i bought the most gorgeous wrap around cape made from an old wooly blanket such as this last year, a cape with arms and love it to bits-i'd love to see a mini version!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing where your scissors take you - so nice :) i dont know how you guys find these awesome things! I went into the oppy today and seriously... No hidden treasures that i could see!
ReplyDeleteOooh thank you for linking up!
ReplyDeleteI adore your blog and your lifestyle sounds amazing. I'm off to devour lots and lots of pages of you!
The blanket is gorgeous, I have a thing for woolen tartan too. I think it would make an adorable cape. Can't wait to see what it turns into x
I am in awe of your woollen blanket collection and the prices you pay _seriously_ I went into an op shop yesterday $45 for a woollen blanket (it is still there)
