On My Worktable - Slippers

May 30, 2013

Recently I made some warm and toasty slippers from recycled, felted wool jumpers with my friend.

We sipped hot chocolates and munched on cookies whilst cutting, sewing and embroidering.
We giggled our way through numerous adjustments and much "trying on" and eventually we each came out with a lovely pair of slippers.

They are a great weight for Autumn - light, simple and soft for padding around the house in. I think the next pair may have some elastic in the back or perhaps a Mary-Jane style strap across the top.

If anyone is interested in the pattern let me know in the comments, I might put one together.

xx
